In exactly seven weeks’ time, Lancashire and Worcestershire’s cricketers will be at Trafalgar Road, preparing for their four-day County Championship match on the ground.
Given anything like decent weather, it should be another brilliant weekend at Southport & Birkdale but anybody considering booking one of the highly sought-after hospitality packages for the game might be advised to get their skates on.
These packages are only available on the first three days of the match and Friday is already fully booked. A few places are available on Saturday and more on Sunday and anyone thinking of booking a table of whatever size should contact S&BCC’s chair, Jordan Bell on 07966-400779.

The hospitality package includes a match ticket, breakfast on arrival, a two-course lunch, two bottles of wine per table, an exclusive viewing area and an official match programme. There will also be an opportunity to participate in a silent auction and additional drinks packages can be purchased.
There have also been a number of enquiries regarding ticketing for the game, which begins on Friday, May 15. Those supporters wanting to attend the game should note that four-day packages are available on Lancashire’s website (saving full-paying adults £15 and over 65s £12). However, the website also reports that “loose seating” will be “available on the day.”
